ON SCHEDULE!

It’s now 5:04 am and I’m on schedule. Slept at 8 pm but woke up at 10:30 for 60 minutes and went back to sleep, to wake up around 2:30 am, an hour and a half before my proposed 4 am waking time. So I believe I’ll have to nap at 1 pm for 30 minutes.

Took shower and yet to shave, I left the house at 4:00 and now I’m set and ready to conduct business (TRADE) under my Role in the specified time allocated for it.

Now I don’t know what to trade and how. Why?! Well being a momentum trader for most of the time, there is nothing moving in Forex and Futures Markets. So I’m just watching and waiting fir a move into a definite direction, so I can ride the wave.

My mind is clear. My body is fit to function. My spirit is high and overall I’m very confident and relaxed. I should be very cautious and on active duty. The enemy is larking in the background.

Tesla’s stick is down in premarket by 20 point. I’m eying the stock in case it will reverse course. The whole market is on the downside as the Futures are indicating, so trading is going to tough, since we are in a Bull Market and our inclination is to trade the reversals. So I’m biased and that is not professional. I need to keep my options open, and trade the Market as the Market wants to be traded.

It’s like having the Market as my dance partner, and we are to perform beyond expectations, an awesome dance. So we have to be in sync and dance to the same tune, say Waltz, and have a perfect coordination and synchronized moves, bringing us to the finish with much applause.

So I’m to wait and see what music is being played, and practice patience and certitude. In addition, I have to be ready to change my moves as the music changes.

I’m always making a bet! Knowing my odds will give me an advantage to place my orders accordingly. I’m not going to win every hand, but my winning total must exceed my losing total. So we always must maximize profits and minimize losses.

Every trade has a life of its own. Once closed, the next trade should have nothing to do with it. We cannot predict the future by studying the past, but what we can do is learn from the past, and apply our knowledge to the current trades. Just do not be attached to any single position as if it’s your last.

I’m feeling sleepy as my eyes are getting tired and my eyelids closing. That’s not good. It seems I didn’t have enough sleep and this mean Trading is off the table!!

Not until I’m fully awake, I should tread the risky waters of trading. We’re not setting sail. We’re settling in a safe harbor until this Sleepy Storm gets it fair chance of subsiding.

8:03 am
My TradeStation system stalled and became unstable as the Market opened. I had to transfer the Desktops and Workstations to ‘Socrates PC’ and after an hour I’m able to trade again.

Too many programs are open and as the Market opens, the system fails. So in order to avoid that from happening when I’m at ‘Plato PC’ Trading Desk, I’ll get my Tradestation open at ‘Socrates’ and will just concentrate on trading sitting down and only focusing on the TradeStation platform.

As of this hour, I also can’t seem to find a proper entry point in AAPL, FB and TSLA. I’m eying these stocks for a chance of sustained reversal until the close. But I’m worried about a coming accelerated selling by Smart Money. Profit Taking by all participants is also valid.

I just speculate based on Price Disturbances. There is no real value in any of these stocks at any given prices, well at least for a day trader, and my take on the whole trading is find opportunities as the participants juggle between their bids and asks, and send the Price into the winner’s direction. Here I would like to ride the coming Trend and make a plausible profit.

It’s not easy! We have to commit to a trade to reap the rewards. No Risk, No Reward! But when will the right time comes to place our bets?! If we are sitting at the table, we are going to bet on every single hand dealt to us, which is in itself an losing proposition.

I’m glad I’m not sitting down at the table. But here I’m afraid I might lose the right opportunity when it presents itself, since I’m absent from the screen. Is there a way I can make this little less uncertain?!

Here I’m again falling asleep, hungry, agitated and eager to trade. What a deadly combination! Refrain from trading as you feel this way because you are not acting with your mind but with emotions. So what is the mind doing?! I guess tired and wants to shut down. Great! When we want to trade in the allocated time, our body fails us. Certainly failure lurks around. Be watchful and careful. Wait to refresh and vitalize your energies and then in a very professional way, execute your duties.
